About Us

Zonta International is a global organization of executives and professionals whose mission is to empower women world-wide through service and advocacy. In 1919, the Zonta Club of Rochester became the second chartered club after the founding club in Buffalo, NY.

More than 29,000 Zontians in 63 countries volunteer their time and talent to support local and international service projects that improve the legal, political, economic, health and professional status of women.

Zonta International is organized into Districts; Districts are organized into Areas which are made up of Clubs. The Zonta Club of Rochester is in District 4 and Area 4.
