Zonta International is a global organization of executive and professional women whose mission is to advance the status of women world-wide through service and advocacy. In 1919, the Zonta Club of Rochester became the second chartered club. There are now more than 1,200 clubs in 63 countries throughout the world.
More than 30,000 Zontians world-wide volunteer their time and talent to support local and international service projects that improve the legal, political, economic, health and professional status of women.
Zonta International is organized into Districts; Districts are organized into Areas which are made up of Clubs. The Zonta Club of Rochester is in District 4 and Area 4.
